Nerikiri Cooking Experience: Traditional Japanese Sweets “Wagashi” Nerikiri are hand-molded bean cakes made with azuki bean paste and natural vegetable dyes for coloring. Participants will learn about the seasonal themes in wagashi and its varieties of shapes, and cook own cakes. Duration: 3.0 hours May 20, 13:30-16:30 at Room A (First floor)

Walking Tour: Historical Buildings of Old Edo The old nostalgic atmosphere spread around Ochanomizu area. Participants can look many historical buildings, popular temples and shrines. Participants will also visit to Origami Kaikan. Origami is the art of folding paper to create animals, plants, etc. At the Origami Kaikan, participants will see demonstrations of origami and enjoy a beautiful exhibition. Duration: 2.5 hours May 21, 9:30-12:00

• Walking tours will depart and return to the sola city Conference Center on May 21.
• Comfortable walking shoes recommended
• The tours include the services of a guide and all entry fees
• All tours will be conducted in English. The tours are based on a minimum number of participants and the organizers reserve the right to cancel any tours for which there is insufficient demand at any time
• Numbers are limited on some tours.
• Accompanying Persons only – tours are included in full delegate registration
